The Ipswich Courier team has significantly reduced its paper usage by approximately 20,000 sheets over the past year. To put that in perspective, laid end to end the sheets would measure approximately 5.5 kilometres!
This fantastic “green” achievement was made possible through close collaboration with ESNEFT Pathology Service Desk Team. Software updates made to the website have allowed our warehouse staff to switch to using handheld tablets instead of paper.
Gary Pitcher from the warehouse team says the new handheld tablets have been incredibly useful and have streamlined the stock-picking process since all actions must be completed before moving on to to the next order.
Operation manager at Ipswich Courier, Andy Clark, said “well done to everyone involved, this couldn’t have been done without your support!”
