Cryoglobulin (CRYO)
Phlebotomy Requirements
Pre-warmed tubes to 37°C in the Hotblock. Samples immediately placed in the Hotblock and then taken to the laboratory within 10 minutes of venepuncture. Inform laboratory staff immediately on arrival.
Collection
Hospital. Mon-Fri, before 3pm.
Sample container
All Colchester & Ipswich samples: 2 x 7.5ml White Serum & 2 x 3.4ml Red EDTA.
Site
All Colchester & Ipswich samples: Ipswich.
Notes
Non-fasting. No specific patient preparation required.
