Phlebotomy Requirements

The testing laboratory is performed by using the QIAGEN Quantiferon Gold assay.

Collection

Hospital location only, samples to be taken between Monday and Thursday 8-12 Noon and should arrive in the laboratory before 1pm

Sample container

The required blood sample for adults consists of two 7.5ml Lithium heparin tubes
